إن العدالة للسوريين والسوريات ليست شأناً داخلياً فحسب، بل مسؤولية عالمية.

قدّمت روابط ضحايا سوريين — ميثاق الحقيقة والعدالة، ورابطة معتقلي ومفقودي سجن صيدنايا، والبرنامج السوري للتطوير القانوني (SLDP) — وبدعم قانوني من Estudio Durrieu، شكوى جنائية أمام المحاكم الفدرالية في الأرجنتين، استناداً إلى مبدأ الولاية القضائية العالمية.

تطالب الشكوى بفتح تحقيق في مسؤولية بشار الأسد، وأسماء الأسد، وعدد من كبار مسؤولي النظام السوري عن جرائم ضد الإنسانية تتمثل في الاختفاء القسري، مع تركيز خاص على الاختفاء المنهجي للأطفال، بما في ذلك الاعتقال التعسفي، والفصل القسري عن العائلات، والإخفاء طويل الأمد لهوياتهم-ن ومصيرهم-ن وأماكن وجودهم-ن.

إن الدور التاريخي والريادي للأرجنتين في ملاحقة جرائم الاختفاء القسري وسلب هوية الأطفال يوفّر أساساً قانونياً وأخلاقياً قوياً لدفع مسارات المساءلة من أجل السوريين.

تأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار نضال أوسع ومستمر تخوضه العائلات السورية والمنظمات الحقوقية لتحقيق الحقيقة والعدالة والمساءلة في سوريا وخارجها.

Justice for Syrians is not only a domestic issue – it remains a global responsibility

Syrian victims’ associations the Truth and Justice Charter, the Association of Detainees and the Missing of Sednaya Prison, and the Syrian Legal Development Programme (SLDP), with legal support from Estudio Durrieu, have filed a criminal complaint before Argentina’s federal courts under the principle of universal jurisdiction.

The complaint calls for the opening of an investigation into the responsibility of Bashar al-Assad, Asma’a al-Assad, and key Syrian regime officials for crimes against humanity of enforced disappearance, with a particular focus on the systematic disappearance of children, including arbitrary detention, separation from families, and the long-term concealment of their identities, fate, and whereabouts.

Argentina’s historic leadership in prosecuting enforced disappearance and child identity suppression provides a powerful legal and moral foundation for advancing accountability for Syrians.

This step is part of a broader, ongoing struggle by Syrian families and organisations to achieve truth, justice, and accountability, in Syria and beyond.
